People in Iceland start celebrating Christmas from December 13. They make fires and dance and sing around it in Christmas. They dress up like trolls and elves. They dress up also like Santa Clause. According to the legend they have 13 Santa Clauses. They call them Jolasveinn. Jolasveinns visit children any day from December 13 to December 24. Children try to behave well on those days, because if they don’t, instead of a gift there will be a potato in their socks.
